Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups plain flour
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls unto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 8-9 minutes or until edges are set. Cool in pans for 1 minute before removing to wire racks.
