Salad - Light and Easy Oriental

Ingredients

  • Salad ingredients:
  • 1 head cabbage (8 cups) cut thin crosswise
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1 ounce pkg slivered almonds
  • 3 oz dry oriental low fat ramen noodles, crumbled
  • 1 TB sesame seeds
  • Dressing ingredients:
  • 1/3 c vinegar
  • ½ c sugar
  • 2 tsp canola oil
  • 2 TB soy sauce
  • ¼ c chicken broth

Preparation

Step 1

Brown almonds, ramen noodles and sesame seeds in 1 tsp. canola oil. Put aside in bag or container. Boil dressing ingredients for 1 minute. Cool. Shake/stir before using. Put the dressing and the salad items together just before eating.
