  • 1 lb chicken livers
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 Med onion sliced
  • 1/8 teaspoon rosemary
  • 6 slices of bacon fried crisp to crumble
  • 1/2 cup very soft butter or marg
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper



Step 1

Simmer chicken livers in broth with onion and rosemary until liver is tender, about 15 minutes
Let cool in broth, drain and reserve the broth, put 1/4 cup broth, chicken livers and all other ingredients in blender. cover and run on high until smooth. refrigerate in covered container to blend the flavor. Enjoy with cracker or rye bread pieces.
