Cornish Hens for Two

Ingredients

• 2 teaspoons salt
• 2 Rock Cornish game hens, thawed
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
• 1 cup white wine
• 1/2 teaspoon tarragon

Preparation

Step 1

Sprinkle 1 teaspoon salt inside each hen. Place the hens in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Mix the butter, wine and tarragon in a bowl. Pour 1/2 of the mixture over each hen. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Pour 1/2 the remaining butter mixture over each hen. Bake for 25 minutes longer.
