Ingredients
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 T. orange juice
- 1 T. vanilla
- 2-1/2 c. flour
- 1 t. baking powder
Preparation
Step 1
Combine butter, sugar, and egg in large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy. Add orange juice and vanilla; mix well. Reduce speed to low; add flour and baking powder. Beat until well mixed. Divide dough into thirds; wrap in plastic food wrap. Refrigerate until firm (2-3 hours).
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Roll out dough on floured surface and cut out with cookie cutters. Place 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 6-10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely.
