Pasta Frolla

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • ½ tsp. baking powder
  • ¼ tsp. salt
  • 4 oz. cold butter, cut into 8 pieces
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten

Preparation

Step 1

Put flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in the bowl of a food processor. Pulse the mixture and then add butter, pulsing 15 – 20 times, until the mixture resembles coarse meal. With the processor running, add the eggs and process until the dough forms a ball.

Remove the dough from the processor and knead until smooth; 1 – 2 minutes. Wrap in plastic and set aside 30 minutes, chill as needed
