Ingredients
- 2 lbs beef sirloin or tenderloin
- 3 bundles of brocoli
- 1 med spanish onion
- 2 tbsp oil & wine
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic
- 3 tsp salt
- 4 tsp sugar
- 2 tsp chicken stock
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- cornstarch and water mix
Preparation
Step 1
Slice beef into strips 1in x 2 inch, marinate with 1/2 tsp salt, sugar, pepper, wine and 1 tbsp oil and cornstarch for 10 minutes. Cut brocoli into appropriate size. Blanch brocoli with soda in boiling water. Rinse in cold water and drain well.
Add cut onion, heat remaining oil and brown garlic. Add beef slices and stir for 3 minutes. Clean wok, heat remaining oil and add brocoli and beef, put in all seasonings, stir well for 1 minute, add 1/2 cup water.
Bring to a boil and stir in starch for gravy.
