Cocoa Cola Cake

Ingredients

• 2 cups sugar
• 2 cups plain flour
• 1 stick butter
• 4 tbsp. cocoa
• 1/2 cup oil
• 1 cup coca cola
• 1 1/2 cup small marshmallows
• 1/2 cup buttermilk
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 2 eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Place sugar and flour in mixing bowl. In saucepan, bring butter, cocoa, oil and cola to a boil. Add marshmallows and remove from heat. Pour over dry ingredients, mixing well. Add buttermilk, baking soda and eggs. Bake in a 9 x 13 pan at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

Frosting:
1 stick butter
3 tbsp. coca
6 tbsp. cola
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup nuts
1 box confectioners sugar

Bring butter, cocoa, cola and vanilla to boil. Remove from heat. Add nuts and sugar. Spread over cake while warm.
