Skillet Pork Chops with Seasoned Gravy

Ingredients

  • 4 to 6 Pork Chops
  • 1 medium Onion (sliced thinly)
  • 1/2 bell pepper, Cut in strips
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1-16 oz can Tomatoes
  • 1 small (4 oz) jar stuffed olives (with small amount of liquid)
  • 1 small (4 oz) can mushrooms (drained)
  • 4 to 6 medium potatoes cut into medium cubes
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Salt and pepper pork chops and brown in large skillet. Place onion slices and bell pepper strips on top of chops. Add all other ingredients except potatoes. Salt and pepper to taste. Cover and cook on low heat 1 to 1-1/2 hours until meat is tender and gravy thickened. Potatoes should be added in last 20 to 30 minutes. (instead of potatoes, pork and gravy may be served with yellow rice.)
