Bean Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. bean sprouts, fresh
  • 3 tsp. crushed toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tsp. sesame oil
  • 2 tsp. minced green onion (incl. tops)
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vinegar
  • 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Half fill a 5 quart kettle with water and bring to a boil over high heat. Add 1 pound bean sprouts and cook just until boil resumes. Drain sprouts.
Combine remaining ingredients, and mix with sprouts. Sprinkle with another tsp of sesame seeds and serve.
