Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- pinch salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 bar German sweet chocolate
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 1/2 tbsp. corn starch
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Preparation
Step 1
Melt chocolate in double boiler. Add butter and sugar and melt over hot water. Cool. Beat eggs and add milk and corn starch. Mix well and add to cooled chocolate mixture. Stir in nuts and coconut, saving a little to sprinkle on top. Pour into 9” unbaked pie shell. Cook about 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
