Ingredients

  • 3 small cans tomato paste (garlic flavored if desired) mixed with meatball/sausage drippings
  • 3 large cans RedPack Crushed Tomatoes (35oz.)
  • 3 medium cans Tomato Sauce
  • Basil, oregano, parsley, garlic, salt to taste

Preparation

Step 1

In a large pot, combine the crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce and bring to a low boil, careful not to burn the bottom. Dust the top of the sauce with basil, oregano, parsley - fresh or dried, add salt to taste and more fresh garlic. Add the tomato paste (with drippings) and stir well. Add sausage and meatballs and simmer covered over low heat for about 1 1/2 hours, stirring frequently so as not to burn.
