Ingredients
- 4 lbs ground beef
- 2 large onions, chopped
- 1 small bunch parsley, chopped
- 1 raw apple
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 scant cup raw rice (not minute rice)
- 2 cans applesauce
- handful of brown sugar
- curry powder and chili powder to taste
- 1 large babbage
- 3 quarts sauerkraut
- 2 cans tomatoes
- 2 46oz cans tomatoe juice

Step 1
Mix together fist 10 ingredients
Do not add salt
Break off leaves from head of cabbage
Blanch cabbage leaves in boiling water for 2-3 min. (until the leaf bends not until it is done)
Line roaster pan or large soup pot with sauerkraut-drained
canned tomatoes and tomato juice
Add more brown sugar
Mold meat into oblong rolls
Put into cabbage leaves, secure with toothpicks
Put into roaster.
Bake at 250'-300'
