Ingredients
- 2 lbs. chicken breast (boneless, skinless, cubed)
- 1 C. onion (chopped)
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 - 28 oz. can diced Italian tomatoes
- 1/2 can tomato paste
- 1- 10 oz. can mushroom pieces
- 1 t. salt
- 1/4 t. pepper
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 t. Italian seasoning
- 1/4 C apple juice or water
- 1 large zipper bag
Preparation
Step 1
Place 2 lbs. chicken into bag. Add 1 cup onion and bay leaf to bag. Combine remainder of ingredients and mix. Pour over chicken in bag. Remove air, seal bag, and freeze.
Cooking: Oven Bake at 350 for 1 hour or slow cooker for 3 - 4 hours on high, or 6 - 8 hours on low
