Ingredients
- 3/4 cup melted margarine (not butter)
- 1 box yellow cake mix (not Duncan Hines pudding)
- 3 eggs
- 1 8 oz. package cream cheese softened
- 1 box confectioners sugar
- 1/2 cup flaked coconut
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Preparation
Step 1
Combine margarine, cake mix and 1 egg. Stir until cake mix is moistened. Pat mixture into the bottom of a well greased 10 x 15" jelly roll pan. Beat remaining 1 egg lightly, then beat in cream cheese and confectioners sugar. Stir in coconut and nuts. Pour mixture over cake mixture in jelly roll pan, spreading evenly. Bake at 325 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Cool on a cake rack to room temperature. Makes about 4 dozen bars.
