Orange Chip Scones

Ingredients
- Icing:
- 4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- ½ tsp. baking soda
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 cup golden raisins
- 1 Tbs. grated orange peel
- 1 cup unsalted butter cut into pieces and softened
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- ½ cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp. orange extract
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 Tbs. grated orange peel
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 1 tsp. orange extract

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 and lightly grease baking sheet. Combine first five dry ingredients in large bowl. Add morsels, raisins and orange peel, mix well. Cut in butter and cream cheese until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Combine buttermilk, 2 eggs and orange extract in small bowl. Pour mixture in to flour mixture and mix just until a sticky dough is formed. Do not over mix. Drop by ¼ cupfuls on prepared sheet. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes.
Mix icing ingredients together in medium bowl until smooth. Drizzle scones with icing.
