Ingredients
- 1/2 lbs beef tenderloin cut in strips
- 1 Tbls Flour
- 2 Tbls Butter + 3 More Tbls
- 2 C Beef Bouillon
- 3 Tbls sour Cream
- 2 Tbls Tomatoe Paste
- 1 Lg grated Onion
Preparation
Step 1
Make the sauce first: Blend 2 Tbls butter with flour until smooth, place over low heat, and very gradually add the bouillon - stirring constantly as the misture thickens and removing any flour lumps.
Bring to a boil and cook 2 minutes, add sour cream and tomato paste alternately stirring conswtantly. Place over a very low heat and simmer; do not allow it to boil at this point.
In a frying pan brown the pieces of beef in the 3 Tbls of butter and onion for about 5 minutes; combine contens of meat pan with the sauce and simmer the whole dish very very gently for 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with plenty of fluffy rice.
