Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp pine nuts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup pesto
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated pecorino romano cheese
  • 1/3 c milk
  • 1/4 tsp kosher salt

Step 1

In small skillet heat pine nuts over medium heat for 2-5 minutes or until golden brown, shaking pan frequently. Remove from heat. Set aside.

In medium bowl stir together cream cheese, pesto, lemon juice, lemon peel and pepper. Stir in cheese and milk. Stir in salt (if desired). Transfer to serving bowl. Sprinkle with pine nuts. Serve with Pita crackers.
