Grilled Steak with Mushroom-Wine Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 Beef loin T-Bone, porterhouse or filet mignon steaks, cut 1 inch thick
  • 3 Tbs. butter
  • 1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced (about 2 cups)
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 2 Tbs. minced parsley
  • 1/2 tsp. dried tarragon, crushed
  • 1 tsp. instant beef bouillon granules

Preparation

Step 1

Slash around edge of steaks every 4 inches. Lightly oil grill. Grill steaks over covered grill on medium 8 to 10 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to desired doneness. While steak is grilling, heat butter in large skillet until hot. Add mushrooms and sauté 1 minute until tender. Add wine, parsley, tarragon, and beef bouillon granules, simmer 4 minutes, stirring often. Serve sauce over steak.
