Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 slices lemon
  • 3 sprigs parsley
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 peppercorns
  • 1 pound fish fillets

Preparation

Step 1

Heat 1 1/2 inches water, onion, lemon, parsley, bay leaf salt and peppercorns to boiling in 10-inch skillet; reduce heat.

Arrange fish in single layer in skillet. Simmer uncovered until fish flakes easily with fork, 4 to 6 minutes.
