Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 6 eggs
- 4 tbs. frangelico liquor
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 tsp. almond extract
- 2 cups roasted hazelnuts or almonds
Preparation
Step 1

2 cups sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
Mix together the dry ingredients. Mix the eggs and liquor separately. Add the liquid mix to the dry ingredients, slowly. Mix until the dough is stiff but don’t over mix. Work in the nuts. Shape the dough into 2 logs. Bake the logs 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Let cool to the touch and slice into ¾ inch slices. Place on a cookie sheet sliced side down. Bake at 15 minutes.
