Ricotta Cheesecake

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs. ricotta cheese
  • 16 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 6 tbs. flour
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

1 ½ lbs. ricotta cheese
16 oz. cream cheese
1 cup sugar
6 eggs
6 tbs. flour
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream the cheeses and sugar well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add 1 tbs. flour at a time, beating well after each addition. Add sour cream, and vanilla. Pour into a 10 inch spring form pan. Bake in a water bath. Bake at 325 degrees for 90 minutes, After 80 minutes, turn off the oven and leave cake for 60 minutes, making sure that you do not open the oven door. Cool cake 60 minutes, and then chill.
