Tea Cakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shortening
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 5 1/2 cup cake flour
  • 6 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 3 teaspoon baking powder

Preparation

Step 1

Cream shortening and sugar. Add milk and vanilla to eggs. Sift dry ingredients. Add alternately with liquid ingredients. Chill. Roll about 1/4" thick and cut. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.
