Ingredients
- 1lb ground beef
- 1 package (1 ¼oz) taco seasoning mix
- 1 can (19oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup water
- 4 flour tortillas, cut up into 1 ½” squares
- 1 cup Mexican style finely shredded four cheese
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup chopped green onions (about 1 large)
Preparation
Step 1
1. Brown meat in a large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat; drain.
2. Add seasoning mix, beans, salsa and water; stir. Bring to a boil and simmer on medium-low heat for 5 mins.
3. Stir in tortillas; top with cheese. Cover and let stand for 5 mins or until cheese is melted. Top with sour cream and onions. Top with shredded lettuce and guacamole, optional.
