Breakfast Sausage Pockets

Ingredients

• 1 package of regular breakfast sausage like Jimmy Dean
• 2 (8 ounce) packages softened cream cheese
• 2 (8 pieces) packages crescent rolls
• 1/4 small onion finely chopped
• 1 tablespoon oil

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In skillet saute onion in oil until tender.

Add sausage and cook until brown. Drain don't rinse.
Add both packs of cream cheese and mix well.
Remove mixture from heat.

On cookie sheet lie triangular crescent roll flat.
Spoon large tablespoon of mixture in middle.
Fold 3 corners in to look like a diaper.

Repeat to make 16 pockets or cut crescents in half to make 32 bite size.

Bake for about 18 minutes or until lightly browned.
