Ingredients
- 1½ lbs ground beef
- 2 medium sized onions
- 1 can tomato soup
- ½ can water
- ½ bottle ketchup
- 2 green peppers
- 8-10 (or 4-5 large) stalks celery
- Hamburger buns
Preparation
Step 1
Brown 1½ lbs ground beef in very little fat and 2 medium sized onions. When thoroughly browned, add 1 can tomato soup and ½ can water, along with ½ bottle ketchup. Prepare 2 green peppers and 8-10 (or 4-5 large) stalks celery, cleaned and diced. Add to ground beef mixture, together with salt and pepper. Simmer slowly for about 2 hours or until very thick - the longer the better. Serve on Hamburger buns. Serves 6-8.
