Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup pecan halves

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugars, salt and milk in medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring only till sugar dissolves, then stir occasionally. Cook to soft ball stage. Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla. When lukewarm, beat until creamy and add nuts. Spoon onto waxed paper.
