Ingredients
- 1 medium red cabbage, chopped
- 1 medium onion thinly sliced
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 txp. celery seed
- 1/4 tsp. ground pepper

Preparation
Step 1
Place cabbage, onion, and pepper in a large heat proof bowl and set a side.
Place vinegar, sugar and salt in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and stir to dissolve the sugar and salt. Remove from heat and add oil, celery seed pepper to the dressing. Stir to combine and pour over cabbage. Let the mixture marinate until it reached room temperate. Cover and refridgerate for at least 24 hours and as much as 48 hours.
