Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup cocoa
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1/4 cups water, divided
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 eggs
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat together the first 7 ingredients with 3/4 cup milk. Add vanilla, eggs, and 1/2 cup water to mixture; beat another two minutes.
Pour into cake pans; bake for 30-40 minutes, depending on pan size.
