Heather's Chinese Soy Chicken

This is a recipe that I created when I wanted to have a Chinese meal but didn't want to spend the money on take-out.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts, cut into strips
  • Two 4 oz. cans Green Giant Mushroom Stems and Pieces
  • 14 oz. can La Choy Bean Sprouts
  • 1 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • Rice, cooked
  • Chow Mein Noodles

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet, cook the chicken in olive oil until it is almost completely cooked. Add the bean sprouts, mushrooms, soy sauce, and sugar. Mix together and cook for 8 - 10 minutes or until the chicken has absorbed all the flavor and is cooked completely. Serve the chicken and vegetables over rice and top with chow mein noodles.
