Wonton Soup 2

Ingredients

  • Same ingredients as for deep fried wontons.
  • 2 litres chicken stock
  • 1 small chicken breast
  • 1 small chinese cabbage
  • 3 green onions
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 chicken stock cube

Preparation

Step 1

Cook the prepared wontons in boiling water and cook 5 minutes. Take them out and rinse in cold water until completely cool. ( if you don't intend to make soup right away, leave the cooked wontons in water and refrigerate until needed.)

Bring to a boil, 2 litres of chicken stock and add cut up chicken and chinese cabbage and boil for 3 minutes.

Take the pre cooked wontons out of the cold water and put them into the boiling chicken stock mixture for another 5 minutes.

Serve with cut up green onions and a few drops of sesame oil and soya sauce.
