Naan Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 T yeast
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1/4 c plain yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 2 T oil
  • 2 t salt
  • 5+ c bread flour

Preparation

Step 1

1) Mix 1/4 c warm water, yeast, and sugar.

2) Combine 1 c warm water, yorgurt, egg, oil, and salt. Stir in yeast mix. Add flour and knead 5-10 min.

3) Let rise 1 hour.

4) Separate into golf ball size pieces and then roll each out till thin.

5) Fry in butter on both sides.

6) Add nuts, cumin, butter, raisins, etc to the inside.
