Cheese Crisps

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 3 cups crisp rice cereal

Preparation

Step 1

In a bowl, cream the butter until fluffy. Slowly mix in the flour, salt and cayenne pepper. Stir in cheese and cereal. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350ºF for 15-17 minutes or until lightly browned.
