Ingredients
- 1 lb. beef sirloin or flank steak
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. sesame or salad oil
- 2 tsp. sesame seeds
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions, including tops
- 1 clove garlic, minced or pressed; alt 1/2 tsps. garlic powder
- 1/2 coarsely ground black pepper
- green pepper slices

Step 1
Slice beef against grain into 1/4 inch slices that are 2 to 3 inches long.
In bowl, stir and toss all the ingredients until all beef slices are coated.
Cover and marinate for 1 to 2 hours at room temperature or 4 or more hours refrigerated.
Place strips 1 inch apart on racks, then broil or barbecue 1min. on each side. Serve immediately garnished with green pepper slices
