Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Flour
  • 1 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Butter
  • 3 Squares Unsweetened Chocolate (1 Oz.)
  • 1 Cup + 3 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1/2 Cup Nuts, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Mix flour, baking powder 7 salt. In havy 3 quart saucepan, stir butter & chocolate over low heat until melted and smooth; cool. Stir in 1 cup sugar, the eggs, vanilla & nuts until well blended. Stir in flour mixture until blended. Cover & chill 1 1/2 - 2 hours until dough is firm enough to shape. Roll in 1 1/2 inch balls. Roll balls in remaining 3 Tbsp. subar. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes until crackled on top and firm to touch.
