Corn Flakes Holiday Wreaths

This is a recipe that I made when the girls were younger and the resulting holiday treats look just like miniature wreaths.

Ingredients

• 6 cups Corn Flakes cereal
• 1/2 cup margarine
• 10 oz. pkg. regular marshmallows (about 40 marshmallows)
• 1 tsp. green food coloring
• Red cinnamon candies
• Non-Stick Cooking Spray

Preparation

Step 1

In a large saucepan, melt the margarine over LOW heat. Add the marshmallows and stir until they are completely melted (liquid consistency); Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the green food coloring and add the Corn Flakes cereal. *Stir the mixture until all of the flakes are well coated.* Spray a 1/4 cup measuring cup with non-stick cooking spray. Measure 1/4 cup portions of the warm cereal mixture onto wax paper. Using buttered fingers, quickly shape the portions into individual wreaths. Decorate each wreath with cinnamon candies. Allow the wreaths to cool before serving.
