Creamy Coleslaw

This slaw works well as a side with Texas, Memphis or Kansas City barbecue. The shredded cabbage isn't as finely grated as in the Carolinas. Heck, rough-chop it if you want.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 Tbsp cider vinegar
- 1 tsp each salt and pepper, or to taste
- 5 cups shredded cabbage (about 1 lb)
Preparation
Step 1
1. Put all ingredients except cabbage in a medium bowl Whisk until smooth.
2. Add cabbage; toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour, or up to 1 day.
