Ingredients
- 1 4oz can mushroom pieces
- 5 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 T flour
- 7 oz macaroni
- 1/2 c green onion chopped
- 1/3 c vinegar
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Drain mushrooms and reserve liquid.
Add water to make 1 cup.
In 3 qt pan fry bacon, drain, reserving drippings. Crumble bacon.
Combine sugar, flour, 1/2 t salt, 1/8 t pepper. Blend into drippings.
Combine vinegar and liquid, add to flour mixture.
Cook and stir until bubbly.
Cook macaroni, drain. In sauce pan lightly toss macaroni, etc.
