Ingredients

  • 1 Loaf of white bread (cut off crust)
  • cut the bread diagonally, layer in buttered pan,
  • dust with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • toast lightly in oven.
  • Heat to simmer
  • 4 cups cream
  • 4 cups milk
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 T vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups of raisons
  • 9 eggs
  • Butter Sauce
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup powder sugar
  • 4 T wild turkey

Preparation

Step 1

Add the 9 lightly beaten eggs to the sugar and milk mixture. Add slowly making sure the eggs don't cook too quickly.
Pour over the bread.
Cover with buttered foil and bake for 45 minutes at 300.

Mix and heat the butter sauce together and pour over the baked pudding.
Serve warm.
