Ingredients

  • 1 cp white sugar
  • 1 cp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 to 1 tbsp cocoa depending how dark you want it
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 capfull vanilla
  • approx. 1/3 cp cream, enough to have the consistancy of thin syrup.

Preparation

Step 1

Boil over medium heat for approx 5 or 6 minutes, to test dropsome into a glass of cold water, when indiviual drops form remove from heat and beat mixture unti it starts to thicken about 4 minutes.
Yu have to learn from experience or it may be too hard or too gooey.
Plae onto a buttered pie plate to cool.
To test lick out th pot with your tongue or a spoon whichever you prefer
