Royal Icing

Great for cake decorating and cookies too!

Ingredients

• 1 pkg (16 0z) confectioners sugar
• 3 TBS meringue powder
• 6 TBS warm water, plus additional if necessary
• Assorted food coloring

Preparation

Step 1

At low speed, beat confectioners sugar, meringue powder, and water until thickened and combined, 1 minute. If necessary to thin, beat in addtional water, 1 tsp ata time. Tint icing with the food coloring you wish.
