Ingredients

  • Dressing:
  • 3/4 cup safflower oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds, toasted
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp salt
  • Salad:
  • 10 oz fresh spinach
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 (11oz) can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 8 oz bacon, cooked and crumbled

Preparation

Step 1

Toss salad ingredients together with enough dressing to coat.

Dressing: Mix well and chill. Makes enough for 2 salads. Keeps in refrigerator 2 weeks.
