Ingredients

  • 1 cup El Milino Whole Wheat flour (pastry)'
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup bran flakes
  • 1 egg
  • 3 Tbsp molasses
  • 3 Tbsp oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Heat over to 425. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Add bran flakes. Beat egg, molasses, oil, milk and nuts. Add dry ingredients and mix only enough to moisten flour. Fill oiled muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake 15 minutes or until done. Can add 1 cup chopped dates or raisins or even flax seed.
425 may be a little hot too.
