Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix

  • 1 pkg. vanilla instant pudding

  • 4 eggs

  • ½ cup rum

  • ½ cup water

  • ¾ cup vegetable oil

Directions

Beat together 3minutes until creamy. Grease 10” tube pan well. Sprinkle with ¾ cup ground pecans. Pour batter over it. Bake at 350o, 1 hour, 10 minutes. Cool on rack. Melt ¼ cup butter, stir in ½ cup sugar and ½ cup water. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in ¼ cup rum. Prick top of cake and brush glaze over top and sides. Make 1 day ahead.
