    slices bacon crisply fried and crumbled

    cup shredded Swiss Cheese (about 4 oz)

  • 1/3

    cup finely chopped onions

  • 4

    eggs

  • 2

    cups half and half

  • 3/4

    teaspoon salt

  • 1/4

    teaspoon pepper

  • 1/8

    teaspoon cayenne red pepper

Directions

Prepare pastry. Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pastry-lined pie plate. Beat eggs slightly, beat in remaining ingredients. Pour eggs, mixture into pie plate. Cook uncovered in 425* over 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 300*. Cook uncovered until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean, about 30 minutes longer. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Optional add in's: green peppers, red peppers, ham. Chicken and bacon. BEST (2) deep dish MEAT IN BOTTOM OF PIE SHELL , CHUCK OF CHEESE , CHUNCK OF ONIONS ETC.., IN BLENDER ADD 8 EGGS AND HALF AND HALF - BLEND - POUR IN PIE SHELLS (GOOD STUFF AT BOTTOWM OF BLENDER.
