Ingredients
- 18 eggs, separated
- 1 1/2 cups sugar, divided
- 6 cups milk
- 1 1/2 cups spiced rum
- 1 1/2 cups brandy
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 3 cups whipping cream
- 1 tbsp nutmeg

Preparation
Step 1
Separate eggs into two large bowls. Beat the egg yolks. Add 3/4 cup of sugar to the yolks and beat until blended. Add the brandy, rum and vanilla. Beat again to combine the egg/sugar mixture and the liquids. Add the milk and beat to combine. Set aside.
Beat the egg whites on high speed while slowly adding the remaining 3/4 cup of sugar. Beat until stiff peaks form. Set aside. In another large bowl, whip the cream until slightly thickened.
Pour the egg yolk mixture into a punch bowl. Add the whipped cream. Stir to combine. Top the egg nog with the whipped egg whites. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
