Step 1
Before peeling potatoes for mashed or other dishes, scrub thoroughly. Then, salt peelings lightly, use butter flavored salt, seasoned salt or butter flavored oil, if desired. Mix well, spread peelings on a cookie sheet. Bake at 300 degrees until crisp. Watch closely as they will crisp according to amount of moisture retained at the time of peeling.
