Ingredients
- 1 c. flour, sifted
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 2-4 T. cold water

Step 1
1. Combine flour & salt into large mixing bowl. Cut in fat until pea like pieces. Sprinkle water 1 T. at a time, tossing lightly with a fork.
2. Shape into ball
3. On lightly floured pastry cloth or mat, roll dough 1-2” larger than pie pan inverted, about 1/8” thick.
4. Fold pastry to fit into pie plate without stretching. Roll under edge & flute.
