Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups beet liquid (from boiling beets in preparation)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 24 whole cloves
- 3 tbsp. catsup
- 3 tbsp. oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- dash salt

Preparation
Step 1
Scrub and wash beets (enough for 6 cups sliced)
Mix all ingredients together in large saucepan.
Thinly slice cooked beets and and add to mixture.
Boil for 3 minutes. Cool and refrigerate. Enjoy!
