Ingredients
- 6 ounces uncooked spaghetti
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 15 ounces spaghetti sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 tsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup evaporated milk
- 1/3 cup water
- 4 ounces Velveeta, cubed
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan
Preparation
Step 1
Cook spaghetti, drain, and set aside. In a skillet combine beef and onions and cook until meat is browned and onions are tender. Spoon off excess grease. Add spaghetti sauce then simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Stir in cooked spaghetti.
Melt butter. Stir in flour and salt. Stir in milk and water. Bring to a boil then cook and stir until thick. Add cheeses and stir until melted.
Spread half of spaghetti mixture into an 11 x 7 inch baking dish. Cover with cheese sauce; top with remaining spaghetti and remaining cheese sauce.
